i do think about that and i realize that i should've gotten out sooner.
( i stayed in longer for various reasons).
but the last few years i knew it was bullsh*t!
We must all understand this, that we were all for various reasons, easy targets. We were all mice living in a feild watched by vultures (birds of prey).
Most of us ran back to our burrows, licked our wounds, realized we were lucky to get out alive, and came back out better and more careful than we were before.
Oh, did I mention that now we are armed?

then she would dust them lightly with flour and brown them in the oven.
they were simply delicious.. i haven't had any for a while now due to blood pressure problems.

Oh Snowy, thanks for the culinary trip down memory lane. I too love my comfort foods, but need to be careful. Here is what I suggest.
Gently simmer your favorite pork parts in lightly salted water just deep enough to cover ( with a lid ajar) for thirty minutes.
Drain into a colander in the sink ( of course run hot water so as not to clog your pipes up)!
Saute your veggies in a skillet til tender, then add your yummies. Let them cook a good twenty minutes to get browned, then add a little water and cover that for another twenty.

I am with BG and others, in that an apology is admirable but only sincere if given in humility.
Blaming others (women, in cagies circumstance) makes the apology conditional and blaming.
